Our key criteria are the quality of food, people’s health and prevention of waste throughout the chain, from harvesting to your kitchen counter. For example, soup cups are made of thinner plastic since July 2024, saving another 10% of plastic.

Marqt is a fish specialist

We – and you – will never have to fish for compliments. We only work with partners who are as committed to fish as we are.  We treat our fish like kings, resting on generous beds of ice in the Ekoplaza foodmarqt stores. We can prepare and/or fillet the fish at the counter, ready for your pan. Don’t have an Ekoplaza food marqt near you? Not to worry. We have some of that same fish prepared in portions. You can find packages and small portions in the chilled section. All you need to do is simply fry it on the skin. Now that’s we call shooting fish in a barrel.
